suz landscape painting
and photography journal
This acrylic/oil sea painting is on aquabord. The first time I've used this particular product.
Aquabord is mainly used for traditional watercolours and gouache, according to the manufacturers, Ampersand.
But hey, we can be creative...though it sucked the life out of the paint a bit.
The painting is based on photos I took at Pärnu beach in Estonia. We visit every year during their extremely minuscule summer.
That's not the reason why the figures are so minuscule though It's just that it's a beach where you have to walk a mile out before the water gets to your waist.
Tiny toy figures from the sand.
